This work is a celebration of the technological revolution which is
Sweeping our planet, I have always been fascinated by the complexity of electronics and how all those connections and pathways create machines which in turn connect humans to each other through telephones and computers and radios etc.
We live in an exciting time of great change and advancement and I wanted to mark it by creating a sculpture addressing the idea connectivity & complexity.

Circuitboard took five and half weeks to make, and is made from one half of an oak beam, as a matter of interest the other half of the beam became one of my sculptures called inverted woman.
I also used aluminium and copper in the creation of this work, the red textured patches on this piece are copper dust bonded to the surface.
